A NOTE FROM LISA

When people learn that I'm an interior designer, often the first question they ask me is, "What's your style?" It's actually something I don't think about when designing spaces for other people. I believe that an individual's personal space is an extension of their brain—it's singular and completely unique to them. I love the process of getting to know and understand who my clients are. I want to hear what's important to them and learn about their personal history, interests, and values. It's these things, along with the architecture, site and materials that inform the design.

My goal is to tell each client's story and help express their inner world. A relationship with an interior designer is a trust partnership. My role is to envision the potential of what could be, strategically adding and editing to create a balance between the client's taste, what best serves the architecture, and what is appropriate for the site or environment. I feel so fortunate when people trust me to be the person to assess what needs to be enhanced and understand what needs to be changed.

I delight in making bespoke, unique projects that are an authentic reflection of who my clients are and how they want to live.
